After making a name for himself in the flooring industry over the past twelve years, Keith Meadows, owner and operator of American Power Vac, Inc. has since hung up his coat and decided to concentrate fully on air duct cleaning. When asked why, Keith answered, Now that I realize how important indoor air quality is, I want to give back to my community and offer people a simple, natural solution to clean indoor air and better health.

Keith admits that before he got into the business of air duct cleaning he was a skeptic of the benefits until his mother who had never gotten her air ducts cleaned after living in her home for 35 years and had suffered from allergies for years spending hundreds of dollars every month for prescriptions, had gotten hers done and her symptoms have since practically disappeared. Since then Keith stands behind his business and his work.

Typically systems should be cleaned every 3 years, says Keith. It amazes me how people wash their hands before dinner, but forget the bacteria they are breathing. When asked what sets you apart for your competitors Keith answered, Friendly, honest service is number one, equipment is number two. Long before I started the business, I researched the industry for a full year for the best possible equipment for the job because I wanted to do the job right and want my clients to know they were getting their monies worth. Now after investing a small fortune, I am now proud and confident to say I have the best equipment in the industry. You see most companies just have portable units or claim they have a truck mounted system, in reality they just have a low powered mobile system attached to the inside of a van.
